Barbie

This painting was inspired by this magical movie Barbie. I must admit, I was relucatant to see the movie....but I finally did and it's a tour de force that has left me utterly captivated, enchanted, and spellbound. I found that the movie speaks to the child in all of us while also addressing significant themes such as self-discovery, friendship, and embracing one's true identity. Even in my 50's I'm still exploring those themes! Painting has given me such an outlet to explore and has opened so many doors to new discoveries.
